ReplyDeleteAs a self injurer, I understand it makes me an attention whore, so I hide my scars as much as I can, while still not wanting them to disappear.
A scar signifies a battle. It shows that the battle was tough, and took something out of you, but couldn't get the better of you.
It signifies that you won.
